My boys' upstairs bathroom is always in a state of choas and a room I try not to frequent often. But, it is constantly changing as they grow. But, one thing that remains the same is the plain, boring builder grade mirror. It was time for an update but I wasn't sure exactly what to do and then Frame My Mirror came into my life. How did I not know about this sooner?!?! It makes updating a bathroom so easy and simple. Plus, you can custom to fit any style and size you are wanting. I could not ask for a better solution.
The bathroom has been update recently with a new shower curtain and custom canvas wall decor signs that I made specifically for them. They are perfect and kinda fitting for one pre-teen boy and one boy on the cusp of pre-teenhood. But, this mirror had to go!
Frame My Mirror is a custom DIY bathroom mirror company that can transform your bathroom with a single frame. Using the DIY Add-A-Frame, you simple adhere a custom frame to your existing mirror for a finished look. You can also choose the custom framed mirror to create a one of a kind look that includes the mirror and frame. Both can be installed quickly and easily in just a short time. I chose the custom framed mirror for our bathroom transformation.
I began by removing the old builder grade mirror first. Which proved to be the hardest step in the entire process. But, it wasn't exactly that hard.
We followed the step-by-step guide for each step including installing the wall anchors that were provided as well as the mounting bracking.
Bottom wall anchors were installed last to keep the mirror securely in place.
Once the mounting bracket was in place and the bottom anchors secure, I just hung the mirror and locked the anchors in place. That was it! How simple was that and it only took about an hour from start to finish, if that even. But, look at the difference! It's amazing how something so simple can change an entire room.
I could not be more happy with the transistion. The rustic wood frame matches perfectly with our current bathroom cabinets and the wall decor. I wanted a rustic wood theme and there were so many choices to choose from, it was hard to pick. I finally chose the Pendleton Charcoal frame to give it that rustic, boyish style I was going for.
So, if you are looking to update a plain mirror in your home, check out Frame My Mirror ASAP!! You will love the look and transformation.
