I have been updating my house, one room at a time, since we moved in 5 years ago. It hasn't been an easy task since I don't have an exact style or design I want to incorporate. We finally took some time out recently to get it a bit of a makeover. We added a fresh coat of paint and a wood accent wall and a few other little details. But, it still lacked personalilty. My guest bathroom is small and tiny with tall ceilings, no windows, and not much wall space. Any decor I used had to make the room stand out. After living with peach colored walls and zero decor for years, I finally just picked up some paint and got to work. After painting and adding in an accent wall, the room was finally taking shape. But, trying to stay on a budget, prohibited me from completely finishing up the room. After some time had past, I knew it was it was in need of a refresh to finish out the room and give it the look I desired.
To fully bring in the farmhouse look to the bathroom, I went straight to Target and grabbed some essentials that I knew would be a perfect fit. Plus, I search up and down throughout the rest of the store to find anything let that would tie in my farmhouse look. I added the perfect shades of gray with towels to hang and the beautiful gray and white accent rug.
An outdoor wooden and metal lantern paired with a white candle made for a great decor piece for this metal shelf I currently had. It was pulling double duty in another room, but I thought it fit better in the bathroom to hold the lantern and extra rolls of our Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® Mega Roll.
This bathroom has really tall ceilings, as does our entire downstairs and wall art is a must! I came across this beautiful white wooden Oh Happy Day wall decor in the home goods section and knew I had to have it. It fit perfectly and matched the theme I was going for.
I'm a sucker for metal bins and baskets and all things organization. When I saw this black metal milk crate basket down one of the aisles, I grabbed it, not really knowing exactly what I wanted it for but, had to have it.
