How to Spread Holiday Cheer With Cookies

I am so excited the holidays are coming! I just wish our weather would agree with me. It's November and it's in the 70's here. But, that doesn't mean I can't get into the holiday spirit! Especially, when we are spreading holiday cheer with our friends and family and the ones we love. My boys love to help me bake so what better way to get into the holiday spirit then having them bake up a fun surprise for their teachers, our neighbors, and our friends. 

It doesn't take much to make a big impact and spread the holiday magic especially when its made with love. I wanted to create a special gift for my boys amazing teachers to just let them know we are grateful for all they do. Plus, I wanted to send a special thank you for a neighbor and great friend who goes above and beyond for us and means the world to our family. Pack up the love with help from Rubbermaid TakeAlongs, delicious cookies, and Christmas magic.

What you need:

• Rubbermaid TakeAlongs
• Cookies
• Bakers twine
• Ribbon
• Hole punch
• Scissors
• Glitter tape
• Christmas Ornament or embellishment
• Printable Christmas Cheer Tags
• Printable Cookie Name Tags

How to Make:

1. Print out Free Christmas Cheer printable and Cookie name tag printable and cut. Print on card stock for durability.

2. Punch holes into each tag.

3. Using glitter tape, cut and apply a small strip to each Christmas cheer tag to add some festive fun.

4. Line the Rubbermaid TakeAlongs with holiday tissue paper.

5. Bake your favorite cookies.

6. Once cookies have cooled down, wrap a small stack (I used 4 cookies) with bakers twine and attach coordinating cookie name tags.

7. Place cookie stacks into the Rubbermaid TakeAlongs. 

8. Top with the lid and wrap with ribbon. Don't forget to add the Christmas Cheer tags and a Christmas ornament or embellishment. I added cute initial letter ornaments to each one of our gifts for each of our teachers.
