We celebrated my youngest sons 5th birthday over the weekend. I cannot believe he is already 5. Time in fact does flies by when you are having fun. When we were first deciding on a theme we knew we had to incorporate dogs or puppies into it since he is completely obsessed with them. So we opted for a theme around his favorite book, If you give a dog a donut.
To create our table set up, I wanted to incorporate all the areas of the book. If you are not familiar with the book, check it out, it is a super cute book and one of our favs. From the kite flying to apple picking and playing baseball, we incorporated it all. Guests were sent home with a kite and baseball to play at home.
Donut cookies, donut cupcakes, and donut donuts were everywhere!
Those are mini donut cupcakes sitting atop of those custom made milk bottles.
We had a special guest (birthday boy) read us the book.
