We love to throw parties! It's what we do. Along with creating one of kind items and pieces for parties, gifts, and every day life, creating a party for a special moment in your life is something we take great pride in. We want to be able to create a memory in your life that you can look back on and think, wow, that was something worth remembering.
I had been wanting to have a story book party for some time now and having only boys, that didn't seem possible. So, I took this as the perfect time to pull out all the vintage books and pieces I have been eyeing and get started right away. Especially before anyone could change my mind.
Since it was January, I wanted to keep with a wintery feel by using dark browns and blacks and deep reds paired with burlap and rustic pieces. But, to keep it light and not so stark and harsh, I added white and creams to mix of colors as well.
For food I wanted it to be more of a "Diapers and Dessert" party with lots of little goodies and sweets to munch on. I contacted a few friends who happen to be sweets makers and got a list going for them. Then I got right to work creating the layout, design, and items for the party. From stacked vintage books to the fairy tale banner to the handmade onesies, the party was a huge success and could not have been happier how it turned out. The mom to be loved every thing and got a ton of diapers to help with her new baby girl.
