I have had a lot of people ask me how I got started in my crafting business. Well, here is how it happened. It was purely by accident. I have always been somewhat crafty. Well, more imaginative I should say. I loved to decorate and turn ordinary objects into better more decorative items. I had heard so much about this machine that would cut items from you into decorative pieces. Mostly for scrap booking, which was not my forte. But, I convinced my husband to purchase this very expensive machine for me with hopes of using it to complete a scrap book for my newborn son. When my brother was getting married, I searched on line for gift ideas and after searching and searching I had the idea to make something myself. I saw a dinner plate someone personalized using the same machine I had. So, I got everything together and created this wonderful plate for my brother and his new wife for their wedding.
The plate was such a huge hit that my business just took off from there. I owe it all to that plate. These are some of the most recent plates I have created with a bit more experience.
And I must that my son is now almost 4 years old and I have yet to finish his scrapbook. :) One day.
